Safety That Supports Every Part of Student Life
Are you ready to take charge of your safety and wellbeing this year? On Monday, 6th October, every student is invited to the University of Worcester’s annual Safety Fair—your chance to connect with local organisations and University services dedicated to helping you stay safe, healthy, and thriving at uni.

Who Will Be There?
We’re excited to welcome 20 fantastic organisations, including local police, emergency services, mental health and housing support, financial advisors, relationship specialists and more. Each stand is here to answer your questions, point you toward resources, and provide practical advice you can take away.

Fancy a Quieter Moment?
Upstairs in the bar area, our Student Wellbeing Champions will be running “Fancy a Cuppa?”, a relaxed space where you can enjoy a hot drink, have a chat, and take a moment to reflect on your wellbeing and safety. They’ll be joined by friendly Pets As Therapy dogs on hand to offer comfort and support for a calm, welcoming environment.

How Does It Work?
Just show up! Staff will be on hand all day to welcome you, signpost services, and make sure you get the support you need—from practical tips to one-to-one conversations. You’ll find loads of useful information, friendly faces, fun activities, and plenty of free resources. Grab a coffee, explore the stalls, and chat with the experts in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
